SanFran charges $480 for red-light violation, makes $3M from one camera!

By expectnothing on in News

Link - California has the most expensive red-light camera tickets in the world – the fine is so steep that one camera in Oakland generates more than $3 million a year – and a Fremont man is launching a protest group to do something about that.

Review: 2012 Subaru Impreza Sport

By expectnothing on in Subaru WRX

Story - “The redesigned Impreza marks an evolutionary step in the compact’s development. Standing on the same footprint as the vehicle it replaces, it somehow manages to provide more passenger and cargo room despite having a one-inch lower roofline.”

JUKE-R Street Race in Dubai

By expectnothing on in Videos

As some in the cars group pointed out, the race isn’t really fair because the other exoctics are stuck in first gear and can’t even get going. A more fair race would be to include an Evo, WRX, etc.

Carbon Motors introduces police truck of the future
Carbon Motors just left our town Connersville, Indiana scamming us for many years on the E7 police car. We did not sell a manufacturing plant here because Carbon was going to buy it. After 5 years of nothing but scamming us out of our riverboat casino money they picked up and left. Just check out Santana Li's linkedin and you will see. He has had many companies none ever produced a product and the last one Carbon Motors was for 7 years and still no product ever came off an assembly line. Most companies her only had 1 year or less. Investors beware Please be careful in California for this scam artist.

Driving in Russia - Must See
Wow that compilation is Nuts. Who in their right mind would try to pass a truck without knowing what was on the other side of it?

      Why?
Thank-you! I feel vindicated for thinking California drivers are assholes for hogging the passing lane. It is a constant irritation to me since much of my work day is spent driving on the highways. If the driver ahead of me is driving as slow as the driver on his or her right and I'm wanting to pass I will honk my horn repeatedly until the driver ahead of me either speeds up or slows down enough to get into the right lane. Often this does not work though since these Californian drivers in particular, despite their embarrassment, are not only idiots they are stubborn bitches as well!

What to do when Pulled Over by a Cop
I got pulled over for the first time last week. Luckily, I read your page on getting out of tickets and it worked. I was going about 47 in a 40 (hardly ticket worthy) on Bayshore drive in Tampa, FL. He said I was going 55... yeah right. The lanes are narrow and there's not many places to pull over. I even used your handwave and waited to pull over until I was in a safe place for him to get out of his car. He asked the question, "Do you know how fast you were going?" to which I used your classic reply, "No sir, I wasn't paying attention." I think being in the military and in uniform helped as well because he just gave me a warning, said people die on this road all the time (yeah right) and to be more attentive in the future. Thanks for the tips! ThE_WatcHDoG

      Top Other Enemies
The last comment I post here was an accident in the wrong spot, please delete. Anyway, about Arizona drivers. These guys are really aggressive in Arizona. They will run a stop sign and honk at you like it's your fault. They will do everything they can to keep you from merging onto a freeway and then make fun of you if they see you struggling. Even the pedestrians are aggressive. They jaywalk and then yell at you when you slow and stop for them jaywalking like it's your fault for driving correctly.

      Enemy Vehicles
@ Construction Vehicles: I used to think they were annoying as heck too, then I lived in Delaware for a year. Wow, down there, construction vehicles are so low priority it's not even funny. I once saw them tear up a 10 mile stretch of Rt 81 and completely repath it while replacing four road bridges with wider ones in 1 month. After that, I realized construction vehicles are very much a state issue. Given, I've seen another state have a better Department of Transportation as Delaware >.> Hammer

  • About

I’ve driven in California since 1991. I’ve spent many trips running up and down the state as well as driving in many other states. After all of this driving, I became fed up with how bad California drivers on. I wanted to point out what they do to either help change a few drivers or at least entertain the rest of the world with Californian’s horrible driving.

I’m located in Orange County in a couple of the richest areas. I see every type of car that is out there in this area. It’s like a car show. Going to a car show isn’t exciting anymore because you see most of the cars driving around anyway. I also work at a place where people buy all the different types of cars. We have Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Lotus, etc. So you can even see a lot of the cars in the work parking lot.

Disclaimer: You’re on your own with these tips. They are not the official law and in no way represent what you should be doing should a cop pull you over.
