This Subaru owner thought he was doing everything right. He had a nice all-wheel drive Forester, he was adjusting his tire pressures for better traction and he figured he was as ready for the snow as anyone could be. But the snow had other ideas and sent a van crashing into the side of his car.
Subaru has been teasing their new WRX rally weapon/hoonmobile for a while now. But the wait is nearly over, we’ll see the whole car next week at the LA Auto Show. But for now, here’s a hoodscoop.
Update 5/10 – Got my car back a second time on 5/8. They seemed to fix everything this time. Another $33.
Update 5/7 – Took my car back to the dealer. I guess a bolt fell off then things were rattling all around. They said it was an easy fix.
Update 2: Ug, my car is making weird rattling sounds now.
Update: They left some wrench or part in the car and we were driving and it rattled around then fell out of the car. Who knows what it was.
$464 for a leaking head gasket. I had $500 Subaru Bucks too which knocked it down to $400. They recommend a crankshift repair for $200 too but my dad said don’t worry about it.
The car is way faster now too.
